In summary
A charming family home in the sun perched above the ocean in Turtle Bay in Weligama.
The land is terraced with the house at the top, the next containing the pool and the third leading to the private gate on to the beach.
There are 4 bedrooms in the main house centred around an open courtyard and the 5th in a separate building close to the front door.
Bedrooms
Room 1 Room, Ground level. This bedroom has 1 double bed King size. Bathroom ensuite, with bathtub. WC in the bathroom.
Room 2 Room, Ground level. This bedroom has 2 twin beds four poster bed. Bathroom ensuite, with shower. WC in the bathroom.
Room 3 Room, Ground level. This bedroom has 4 bunk beds. Bathroom ensuite, with shower. WC in the bathroom.
Room 4 Room, Ground level. This bedroom has 1 double bed King size. Bathroom ensuite, with bathtub. WC in the bathroom.
Room 5 Room, Ground level, in another building. This bedroom has 2 twin beds four poster bed. Bathroom ensuite, with shower. WC in the bathroom.
The twin beds can not be converted in double beds (they're bolted in the wall).
Indoors
In the main building, you'll find the beautiful sitting room with sofas, arm chair, SAT TV / DVD, overhead fans, French windows leading to terrace and garden, and wonderful ocean views.
The dining area is perfect to enjoy a delicious meal with family and friends, with its table for 10 laid on the verandah with superb garden and ocean views.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped and can be left as the domain of the chef.
Outdoors
The villa offers a great spacious terrace, for those who want to relax with their favorite book or their favorite drink.
If you're looking for a relaxing place and some fresh air, the garden is perfect. Well maintained and surrounded by Palm trees, the swimming pool is located on the lower terrace, and offers a magnificent sea view.

Meals: The chef will prepare Western and local dishes. Payment for meals is on an ‘ingredients only’ basis + transport
Location
There is a seasonally safe swimming beach two houses down. The walk along the beach is only possible at low tide and involves scrambling down some rocks, but it is easy to walk from the house gate down the beach road (100 paces at most).
Galle is 30 mins by car max and the house is a short Tuk Tuk drive to the surfing beaches around Weligama.

Une maison facile à vivre, ou la circulation est aisée. Un mobilier simple, mais de bon gout. Une vue exceptionnelle, avec une très grande piscine bien exposée, bénéficiant d'ombre, avec en permanence une légère brise, très appréciable pendant des grosses chaleurs. Une maison idéale avec de jeunes enfants.
Excellent contact chez Villanovo avec toutes les personnes qui se sont occupées de notre dossier. Beaucoup d'attention et de bienveillance.
C'est la maison parfaite ! Nous avions des savons exquis aux huiles essentielles. Cela aurait été super d'avoir également du shampoing .... Mais cela reste un détail !
