Beautiful country home renovated in a traditional style, Villa Lucina is set in a private ground of over twenty acres of gardens and olive groves. Situated within the verdant Umbrian countryside, the house has excellent road access and is just a few minutes away from the hill top village of Montone.
 
Villa Lucina has four bedrooms, two of which are equipped with ensuite bathrooms and private outdoor spaces. Additional sleeping accommodation for children/teens are available in a further tower room.
 
Indoors

The main front door of the house leads to a spacious entry hall and to the first two loving places, which are equipped with a TV room including a flat screen TV, a DVD, Xbox console and a large selection of DVDs. Adjacent to the TV room you will find a spacious and luminous living room, with a comfy corner sofa, easy chairs and a traditional fireplace. This living room, ideal for relaxation, also offers a beautiful view of the countryside, and leads you to a fully equipped kitchen with two electric ovens, a five ring gas hob, a large fridge, a dishwasher and a double sink. You will also find in this kitchen a dining area equipped with a table for eight and a breakfast bar with seating for three. Through the floor to ceiling French window, you will be able to access the outdoor area and enjoy the splendid view of the valley and the ancient hill top village of Montone.
 
The kitchen gives access to two separate eating/seating places: an outdoor deck with a table for six and an external covered loggia with a BBQ and seating for twelve. There is a kitchen garden planted during high season for guests to pick and cook from.
 
A large utility room off the kitchen is equipped with a freezer, ice machine, washing machine…  and gives off to the garden, at the guests’ disposal.
 
On the ground floor of the residence you will find the first master bedroom suite with its spacious double bedroom, its private terrace, its open plan dressing area with a claw foot bath and separate wet room and toilet.
 
On the first floor there is two large bedrooms, the first one equipped with a double bed and its own shower room and toilet, and the second one composed of twin beds and a bathroom with a shower and twin sinks.
 
At the end of the corridor is the main master suite, which benefits from an ensuite bathroom including a free standing bath and a huge open shower, and its own dressing room. The master bedroom is exceptionally lit and well ventilated, its space opening to the exterior through six windows. It consists of a king size bed, a traditional working fireplace and a French door leading to a private seating area and the original external staircase. Also, a spiral staircase located in the dressing room will give you access to a tower room where futons will be available for extra sleeping accommodation.

There are hairdryers in each bedroom and ceiling fans in each bedroom

Outdoors

Outside the house, close to the main entrance you will find outdoor seating spaces, a tennis table, an outdoor chess board, an infinity edge swimming pool giving views of the rolling hillside below.
 
Services

Paul, the house manager will meet you at your arrival at the house, to provide you with all necessary information concerning the house, the local area, and any questions you may have. He will be at your disposal may the need arise and will assist you with booking extra services.
You will find in the houses an information folder, maps and guide books to provide you with all the details of local activities, places to visit, festivals and other local information.
Also, multiple services are available and can be arranged on request at additional cost, such as catering, babysitting, local tour, cooking classes or massage on site.
Cleaning prior to arrival and on exit is included in the rental price. Linens and towels are provided. Additional cleaning or maid services can be provided on request at additional cost. 

Location

The house has excellent road access and is just a few minutes away from the hill top village of Montone.
